Matthew McFarlane

Chief Operations Officer

Matthew McFarlane is the Chief Operations Officer of Miller LaPoint, LLC. He is also a licensed attorney with extensive experience in operations management. Formerly, Matthew was the Chief Operating Officer for an industrial gas firm where he oversaw all high-level company operations.

Matthew specializes in process development and implementation and will lead Miller LaPoint, LLC in a direction of sustainable and scalable growth. He is responsible for the company’s overall operations and will oversee various aspects of the firm including financials, legal, human resources, growth strategies, business development, process development and process implementation. Matthew is an avid endurance athlete and martial artist and is a father of two amazing children and husband to an incredible wife.

Andy Ray

Vice President, Project Management

Andy has a degree in construction management from Louisiana State University and has worked in the construction industry for the past 13 years. Andy is responsible for managing RFP’s, Pre-construction, scheduling, procurement & buyout, contract review, cost management, and overall day to day project management roles.

Chris Holland

Vice President, Project Management

Chris has over 10 years construction experience within the Houston commercial construction industry. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Construction Science. Upon graduation, he began his career as a Superintendent working on various interior remodel and first generation build outs, ranging from $250,000 to $10 million. Chris quickly excelled in this position where he was given the responsibility of solely overseeing projects at an early age. He pursued his next opportunity with one of Houston’s largest general contracting firms as a Project Manager in the Interior Construction Division, delivering projects of various types and sizes, ranging from $250,000 to $30 million. Chris joined Miller LaPoint Construction in 2018 as a Vice President, where he assists in overseeing aspects of the Company’s business and plays a key role in business development, while also managing projects. In addition, his other responsibilities include training, developing, and mentoring a team of young Project Managers.

Outside of work, Chris is an avid waterfowler, golfer, and angler.

Sunday has worked in the construction industry for more than 20 years with experience in both Residential and Commercial Construction. Her career began at a Land Surveying Company where she managed the Builder Department and specialized in Property Abstracting. She then spent several years with The Hanover Company as a Construction Administrator traveling to manage Class A multi-family residential projects across the nation. In 2010, she joined D.E. Harvey Builders as a Project Coordinator in the Interiors Division. As the Vice President of Administration for Miller LaPoint Construction she will play a vital role in ensuring that our daily operations and processes are efficient and meet only the highest quality standards.

Stephen Roberts

Safety Manager

Stephen has 12 years of previous commercial building experience as a field superintendent and safety coordinator. His daily responsibilities include conducting safety meetings, reviewing ISA’s, assisting the superintendent with investigations of accidents, taking preventative measures and recommending improvement on any unsafe conditions, material and equipment inspection and lastly to establish positive relationships with superintendents, foremen, craftsmen and laborers.
